At Ibdaa (which means "innovation" and "creativity" in Arabic), we serve as the local presence for cutting-edge technology companies that typically wouldn't reach the Middle East and Africa until much later in their growth journey. Our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between early-stage software innovations and forward-thinking enterprises across the region.
After two decades of helping global technology companies successfully enter and navigate the MEA market, we recognized a significant opportunity. While the best AI innovations were rapidly emerging globally, many never made it to MEA markets in their early stages—or arrived so late that organizations had already fallen behind. Abboud is passionate about helping organizations in the Middle East and Africa navigate the complexities of the digital age. With 20 years of experience delivering business value through technology solutions, he has a proven track record of market development, having led Alteryx's regional expansion across Europe and then the Middle East, from scratch to a multi-million dollar operation.
A firm believer in channel partnerships as a key market development strategy, Abboud excels as a matchmaker between buyers with specific needs and solutions that address their pain points. He guides clients through their journey to find the perfect fit, holding an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies from Lebanese American University.
Fadi Bassil
Partner
Fadi brings over 20 years of experience leading and scaling teams in high-growth software companies. Prior to founding Ibdaa, Fadi served as Vice President of Global Customer Success at Incorta and Director of EMEA Sales Engineering at Alteryx, where he helped grow revenues from $15M to over $120M annually.
Based in the UK, Fadi's technical expertise spans AI, ML, Cloud, and IT, with a consistent focus on mapping innovative technology to commercial outcomes. He has built successful go-to-market teams and playbooks across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Fadi holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK, and a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering from Lebanese American University.
